Writing notes
So the Grotto was a rock club in New Haven. Kevin Peckham and I had a drink there once before Ghost Ghost played a show nearby. I read that Mark Mulcahy from Miracle Legion booked bands for the Grotto back in the day. Rock and roll ghosts. The title is almost certainly a reference to The Clash’s song “Rock the Casbah,” but what do I know? This was the second song I finished for Condo Fucks City Rockers, and it was the first one that really jumped out of the speakers.Recording notes
